I painted this in 8.5 hours non-stop! I am wiped. : ( The sketch was done a while ago, but I never got to finishing it until today.
This is one of the elements in my series I am doing. This is called "Fluviant." Better than saying "aqua" I think. : )
Tools of Trade:
Prisma Colored Pencil
Water Color (tube kind)
Mask
Watercolor Paper
Knife (to cut out white lines; use an exacto knife instead!)
Toothbrush (splatter effects)
Cotton Balls (for the sky)
Q-tips (for the texture on the body/island
Time: 10ish hours
Oh, yeah. This is 100% me! I didn't look at any references for this and the girl is based off a photo a took of myself. YAY XD
The original looks better than this. >_< I had to take a photo of it since it was too big for my scanner. That's why it looks ugly upclose! >_< sorry!
